Den Bloome Bremond DACM, RN, LAc
I am a California licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, having received my Master’s of Science in 2002, and then my Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2018, both from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. In addition to over 3,000 hours of didactic and clinical training received through school, I have completed extensive coursework in the areas of women’s health and pediatrics. I am also a California registered nurse, with over 16 years of experience working in Bay Area hospitals. I appreciate the ways in which Eastern and Western medicines are able to complement one another, and I value the mind/body/spirit connection inherent in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I am motivated by my desire to help others to heal themselves and find joy in their lives.
I am passionate about developing a relationship with and treating people of all ages, and have thus created a whole family practice. I believe it is never too early nor too late to take steps towards greater health and well being. I am comfortable with and skilled at treating and supporting people (kids are people, too!) with a wide variety of health concerns, including: psycho-emotional, digestive, women’s health, immune enhancement, acute and chronic pain and the general promotion of physical and emotional health.
Outside of work, I especially enjoy reading, traveling, family excursions and culinary adventures. And yes, Den is short for Denise, but just about everyone calls me Den.
